Reef Snorkel and Sunset Cruise Combo

The Reef Snorkel & Sunset Combo is a crowd-pleaser, and it’s easy to see why. For nearly 3 ½ hours, you’ll sail the beautiful waters surrounding Key West on your way to visit the amazing coral reef. This tour is available seasonally at 4:30 p.m. to ensure you have the best seat on the ocean for an amazing Key West sunset.

End a Perfect Day at the Reef with an Unforgettable Sunset

We ask that all of our Reef Snorkel & Sunset Combo tour passengers check in at least 30 minutes before tour departure on the Harborwalk at the Historic Key West Seaport. You’ll board our catamaran, a state-of-the-art vessel, to sail the Great Florida Reef, the world’s third largest barrier reef and the only living coral reef in America.

There’s never a dull moment on our tours. During the 7-mile sail to the reef aboard the Cube, a 60-foot Catamaran, you’ll be able to take in the sights and maybe spot a dolphin or two. During this time, our crew will show you the correct snorkeling techniques and provide you with information on snorkeling safety as well as address any questions or concerns you may have.

When it’s time to snorkel, you’ll find heading to the water is a breeze. Our catamarans feature a “Stairway to the Sea,” a convenient staircase that allows passengers to descend to water level for their safety and easy water access. No diving overboard or worrying about using a slippery metal ladder.

Once you’ve had your fill of snorkeling exploration, climb aboard and relax. Our catamarans are equipped with freshwater showers to rinse off, and we offer plenty of space for you to bask in the wonderful Florida sun. There are also shaded areas available for a cool ride back to Key West. We invite all of our passengers to sit back and enjoy complimentary wine and beer during the return sail. Complimentary water and sodas are available throughout the tour for your convenience.

The Great Florida Reef is home to more than 1,400 species of animals and marine plants, including Angelfish, Parrotfish, Lionfish, seahorses, turtles, dolphins, stingrays and even sharks. The various types of brightly colored sponges and coral are truly a sight to behold, and you’ll get up-close and personal with all the beauty the reef has to offer.

We provide the gear!

Best on Key West welcomes novices and advanced snorkelers alike and we have all the gear that you’ll need for our afternoon at sea. Provided gear includes snorkel, mask, fins and a buoyancy compensator. All of our gear is sanitized for the protection and safety of our snorkelers.
