In early June, Duval Street is painted with a flash of rainbow. The Annual Key West Pride event, hosted by the Key West Business Guild, draws thousands of LGBTA tourists from around the world.
This multi-day event is packed full of pride events and parties, notably the Key West Pride Parade down Duval Street. A 100-foot section of the famous “Sea to Sea Rainbow Flag” is displayed. Hundreds gather to show their support and several Key West organizations drive vehicles down the strip playing music and pepping the crowd.
The party doesn’t stop there, pool and dance parties invent the night with film festivals and Sunset Sails bring the community under One Human Family philosophy. See who will be crowned Mr. and Miss PrideFest or head out to the clubs for late-night clothing-optional parties. Street venders will line the strip with amazing crafts and gift ideas for your travels.
