Entering the Pirate Soul Museum is like taking a step back in time to the Caribbean of the late 1690s. The museum is filled with dark, winding alleys that are made to make you feel like you are traveling through pirate caves and old town cities that pirates invaded. You will be greeted by audio animatronics like those from Disney World. The goal of the museum is to both give you a sense of the 17th century life of a pirate and fully educate you on what pirates were all about.
In effect, you and your group are meant to undertake a comprehensive pirate journey. You will see hundreds of authentic pirate artifacts, hear the stories and myths that were popular aboard pirate ships, and see the various maps and books that were used by the most well known pirates such as Blackbeard or Captain Thomas.
The museum is aptly located right on Duval Street, a few blocks from the famous Sloppy Joe's bar.
