Key West Aquarium
The Key West Aquarium is the only one on the island, offering Key West visitors an opportunity to come face to face with the wondrous world of the ocean deep. The aquarium features a Touch Tank with harmless and curious creatures including rays, sharks, and turtles. You can also participate in shark and turtle feedings which happen daily 11AM, 1PM, 3PM, 4:30PM.
The aquarium also features a Turtle Hospital where our diligent crew work hard to help protect the endangered sea turtle. Mostly, the hospital works in nursing and rehabilitation of injured sea turtles. A handful of sea turtles have become permanent residents in the aquarium.
Finally, the aquarium has a 50,000 gallon tank that features all kinds of unique sea creatures. You will see almost every kind of species that inhabits the plentiful waters that surround Key West. This is a great way to get to know what these creatures look like before going on a snorkeling or diving trip.
