The Echo2 (the only wild dolphin trip in Key West on a sailing catamaran) is certified to carry 26 passengers, but as part of our quality control, this trip is kept to 1/2 full maximum! Take this exclusive tour and enjoy a wild and natural Dolphin Encounter, about an hour of Snorkeling time and some great Sailing too. We sail the shallow tropical waters around the deserted islands off Key West, Florida in the National Wildlife Refuge.
A local pod of wild dolphins live right off the coast. Our daily trips allow you witness wild adult dolphins caring for their babies, and pods of dolphins hunting with their “echo” location, feeding, playing, socializing and even mating on the surface. This sure is better than any captive dolphin facility. Plus, you’re on the water too, out in the same beautiful environment, breathing the same sea air as our marine mammal friends.
Curious Dolphins often take time to socialize with the catamaran, jumping around the boat, swimming between the catamaran hulls… just basically showing off for their own entertainment, and ours. Our crew are expert guides and they'll explain the wild dolphin's hunting and feeding habits, and so much more. Mother nature makes every trip unique, and every day is a new pallet for nature’s amazing canvas.
Since we respect our local Dolphins and their habitat, we help keep our wild dolphins healthy, happy and here in Key West. We enjoy a non-invasive wild dolphin encounter, according to local rules and Federal laws. That way we witness their natural behavior and avoid having any negative affect on the local pod of our Wild Dolphin friends. Our goal is to give you the best wild dolphin encounter experience available in Key West. This is not like other encounters where you have a dolphin in a pool; here you get to experience all the majesty of wild dolphin families right off the Florida coast.
Our second stop is to enjoy some of that famous Key West snorkeling. We love to snorkel our favorite shallow-water shipwreck encrusted into a coral reef, but we also go to other wrecks, coral reefs and sponge garden environments. We sometimes even make a stop on an awash, isolated sandbar. Because we're a catamaran, we can go wherever it's best that day. We know all the secret spots in the shallow waters off Key West and can take you to the places that other boats only wish they could go. We pride ourselves in providing the best wild dolphin encounter, sailing and snorkeling trip possible for the conditions of the day.
Jump overboard and enjoy some of the best snorkeling in Key West, or relax and watch the sea-life and snorkelers from our soft trampoline sun-deck or from our comfortable shaded seating. Cool off with a fresh water shower after a salty snorkel. Sit back and enjoy our premium tropical fruit tray and assorted snacks and nuts. We also provide you with ice cold soft drinks and bottled spring water, domestic & imported beers including Miller Lite, Corona Extra and Heineken (21 yrs & up) and our two excellent house wines, McWilliams Chardonnay and Shiraz from S.E. Australia. Then you cruise back to Key West while relaxing and enjoying the memories you can only get on the tropical waters of the Florida Keys
